My Little Cougar

Well, I think Anna has converted Sarah into a Y fan, don't you agree? She's so cute!! I didn't even have a chance to teach her to be an Aggie yet!!! I tried teaching her the word, "Aggie", but all she'll says is, "cougar". Poor child, she's going to be biased for the rest of her life. Thanks Anna.

Sarah's Princess Chair

Sarah got a pink princess chair yesterday! It finally came in the mail! When I pulled it out of the box and told her that it was her very own chair, the biggest, cutest smile plastered on her face. She immediately grabbed all her stuffed animals and her blanket and sat down in her very own chair! It was so cute!!

Jordan, Anna, and I have been working hard the last few days getting our stage done. Jordan, the amazing stage tech he is (he has absolutely no experience so I had to teach him) is putting together an extension of the stage. I told him what I wanted and he is building it out of pallets. On top of the pallet stacks we are putting flat particle board which is pictured below. Jordan and Anna painted for hours, in my garage, on Wednesday till it was done. The end product...a very fine top pieces of a stage!

Valentines Trip

Sarah and I went up to Logan and left Daddy (Jordan) home for Valentines day this weekend. This was the first weekend, since the beginning of January, that I didn't have a rehearsal....so....Logan I went! I haven't seen my family since Christmas and I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Sarah also learned a new word. Deer, or she says, "deh". There is a family of 8 deer living between my mom's home and my grandpa Harris'. They come and eat anything they can find between the houses, which usually means wheat from the pheasant feeder and bird seeds from the bird feeder. Sarah loved watching them. But, could you help it? They are so pretty!

Here is a cute picture of Sarah eating a banana. I couldn't help but take a picture of her eating! She shoves her mouth full I don't even know how she chews!

We made rock jewelry as well. It was pretty fun. I made a necklace for Grandma Harris and Grandma Thorne. I also made a key chain for Jordan, which I forgot to give to him yesterday, so he will get it today. I will give it to him today. This is a picture of my mom and my little sister Becca...and the mess we made!!

We also went and saw 'Peter Pan' the musical at my old high school. It was really good and cute! I took Sarah and Abby, my niece, with me and Mom came too. Abby and Sarah clapped so hard to bring Tinkerbell alive I thought they were going to bruise their hands! It was cute. Abby asked when she would get to go back and see Peter Pan again. She loved the pirates and Tiger Lily as well.

Careful Consideration

After careful consideration, I've decided to move on and find another literary agent. The agency I thought was reputable actually isn't what I thought it to be. I have to protect myself as an author and in doing so, I must pass on this agency.

Keep praying for me. I am sure someone out there will want my book!

Ahhh!!!! (Screaming in utter joy and ecstasy!)

My book now has a literary agent representing it! Can you believe it?! I got the email this morning saying that they want to represent my book and will find a publisher! AHHH!! I can't say it enough!

Still, I realize, there is a lot of work ahead of me. However, I want to thank everyone who has helped me get this far! Your prayers have helped me and I cannot thank you enough! Thanks to Anna and Karina who've read my book over and over again. Thanks to my wonderful Aunt Nola who helped me edit extensively!! And thank you to all those who've read An Unforeseen Life and have given me honest opinions. I truly appreciate all of you!

Continue to pray for me. I still need to go through the difficult editing process and finding a great publisher! Thanks!!! Thanks!!! and many more thanks!!!

Maestro Sarah

Well, I think I have a musician on my hands! What do you think? She loves to play, flip the pages, and then play some more. This alone will entertain Sarah for hours.

Drinking and Driving

Here is Sarah on her 4-wheeler she got from Nana and Bompa. Isn't she cute! I hope this isn't any indication of future driving skills! Sarah is doing well and growing too fast! She is already past 1/2 my height. I guess the pediatrician was right when he said she'd probably be 6'3" when she's full grown. Wow, my little baby is going to be taller than me!!!
Sarah is saying so many words now! I can't even count them. She is learning her shapes and colors as well. She likes to say green, which comes out "greh-n". She also says pink which comes out "peh-nk". Her vocabulary is so cute!!!

Here are a few more pictures from the Stake Musical as well. This is Andrew, aka "Frank" in the show. He is the protagonist. In this picture he is disguised as a gypsy trying to get information out of Cruella, the beautician witch (Sis. Virgin - The Stake Pres. wife!!). Andrew had a hard time keeping his face straight singing mean words to the Stake Pres. wife, she she had to put a wig on to distract him. This is the funniest scene in the entire show!

The rehearsals are going great. I wish we'd have more time, but beggars can't be choosers. I am just glad to be doing the show. Next years is already written, I'm just changing lyrics and such to make it church appropriate.

Reminising

I was reminiscing today about old shows I'd been in. The Pajama Game was one of my all time favorite musicals to be in. It was at Rodger's Memorial Theater in Centerville, UT in October of 2006. I was "Mary". Here are some pictures of me. If you can't pick me out, I am the one on the "Olive Oil" dress.

Here are some pictures of my good friend Jonathon Crittenden. He is a wonderful singer, actor, and dancer! He was "Hinsie" in the show. It was fun doing the show with him and so many other wonderful people.

Baby Daisy

My mother-in-law has a little cocka-poo dog who is whitish-yellowish in color and a little toy dog. His coloring is pretty similar to Daisy's coloring on her back. When Buster sees Sarah, he gets a little scared and runs and hides under Great-Grandma Opal's arms or feet. Sarah went to Grandma Resch's the other day and saw Buster, whom she normally calls "Daisy", looked at him and said, "Baby Daisy". So, now in her mind Buster is "Baby Daisy". It is so cute!!

Superbowl was fun. We had Jordan's family come over and Karina (Anna's friend). We had brauts, which Jordan bought spicy ones!!, chips, poppers, hamburgers, and the list continues. It was a good game too! I'm surprised I sat down and watched some of it. Normally I just watch commercials.

I had to sub in nursery again, so Sarah and I stayed the entire time at church (till 4 pm which makes her miss nap time). We got home and quickly laid Sarah down for a nap. She slept from 4:15-6:30 when I woke her up. I wanted her to go to bed at the same time as normal, 8pm, so I felt bad waking her up, but I didn't want to stay up late or wake up at 4am cause she was awake. Anyway, so Sarah enjoyed the snacks and a hamburger and spending time with Grandma Resch who read book after book to her while watching the game.

Rehearsals were great. I am excited for the show!! Only 7 more weeks and the show begins!
