First Snow Storm...err...Blizzard!

Well, moving up to Logan has been great so far. It's nice to be home. The mountains are close, there's hardly any traffic, and it only takes 10 minutes to drive somewhere unlike in SL. Having said that, the weather is a different story. Yes, we get snow in SL, but we don't get the tempratures Logan gets in the winter. The high, you ask? Well, it is a blistering 10 degrees. The low? Well, that is a smoldering -15 degrees. Welcome back to Sibera...err...Logan.

Sarah loves it. Her and Jon and Daisy built 2 snowmen. Sarah and I had a fun snowball fight too. Momma won, but only because Sarah stopped and ate a chunck out of each snowball she made to throw at me. It's been great fun. And, it really does feel like Christmas time. Thank goodness Thanksgiving is tomorrow otherwise we'd have a long wait till Christmas.

Daniel is doing well. He's growing right up. He had his 2 month wellness and immunizations last week. He was in the 75th percentile for his height and only in the 25th percentile for his weight. He's going to be like Sarah, tall and skinny. Do I have a future basketball star on my hands? Possibly.

Daniel is very coordinated for his age. He is 2 months old and plays with his toys. He's very aware of his hands and sees well enough to know where to move them to hit the toys and make noise. Watching young minds delevop is so neat. Just goes to show God does know what he's doing.

November Fun

Well, this month has already gone by so fast. I know it is only the 8th, but still, it's zipped right by. I go back to work on Wednesday of this week and I know time will only go by quicker.

It's been great having Jon home. Sarah loves him! He made a huge pile of leaves for her to hide and jump in. She would cover herself and then hold really still. As soon as we were close enough, she'd jump out of the leaves and shout, "Here I am!" It is so adorable! Daisy had just as much fun I think. She would jump up into the air, catch all the leaves she could, and then eat them. Jon has found this to be very entertaining. There really is a reason we call her Crazy Daisy.

Daniel is growing right up. He has learned to smile, not just when there's gas, but really smile. It is so neat. He also plays with his toys. He's only 8 weeks old, but he's figured out how to play with his toys and make rattling noises with them. He also laughs. It is a cute laugh. I can tell he's still trying to really figure out how to do it. He's such a smiley, happy baby. I couldn't ask for more. I've really enjoyed being a stay at home

mother.

Halloween

Well, I finally found my camera! Yeah!! I lost it the day of Halloween/the day Utah celebrates Halloween anyway. We carved pumpkins on Friday to start things off. Nana helped Sarah while Dada watched Daniel.

I was able to take some photos of Sarah as Cinderella and some of Daniel as Gus-Gus, but not too good of ones. They were so cute! I sewed both costumes. I went as a witch because Sarah kept saying I was one. I just went with the flow. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate this year. We've been pampered the last two Halloweens with really warm weather.

On Sunday Daniel was blest in church. It was great and Jordan gave a wonderful blessing. He blessed Daniel that he'd seek and education and enjoy learning, that he'd listen to and obey his parents, have a desire to serve a full time mission, and marry a worthy woman in the temple. He also blest him that he'd be healthy and strong. All wonderful, wonderful things.

Jon also gave his mission report since he got home from Cebu, Philippines on Thursday. It was great doing both of them together and seeing all the family. We hosted Jordan's family for the weekend. It was a great week, although busy and stressful.
