Baby Animals

On Saturday, after Sarah's swim lessons, Anna and I went to Jordan's work for their big community event. They had a tent full of baby animals and I couldn't resist snapping some cute pictures. Sarah loves animals, so this was really neat for her.
She loved, repeat, loved the goats! She also liked the little piglets. She didn't dare touch them though, but that is okay. We all know pigs aren't the cleanest of animals.

Sarah also wanted to touch the big horns on the papa goat. Well, I wasn't sure if he was in a happy mood, so we sort of stayed away from him. But, he was pretty big, as you can see!
It was a fun weekend!

Eye Appointment

Well, I had to see the optmologist yesterday...the verdict: I have to wear glasses all the time now. Apparently staring at a computer screen for 8+ hours a day isn't too healthy for my eyes. Not to mention all the time I spend reading and writing as well. All well, I suppose it was destined to be. Maybe now my headaches will go away :o)

But, one good thing happened at my appointment...who'd you guess came walking through the doors as casual as casual could be?! Pres. Thomas S. Monson that's who!! Everyone knew him there and greeted him just as nicely as they had greeted me!

Apparently my eye doctor gives free service to all the General Authorities, so they come to him for service. Not to mention, my eye doctor is one of the best in the state of Utah. Pres. Monson broke his glasses and they needed to be fixed, so right on the spot, they fixed them. I was mustering up the courage to speak to him when I was called back for my eye exam, so I never got to introduce myself to him. But, all I could think of was, "The prophet is three feet away from me!!" It was neat, although I never introduced myself to him. He's pretty tall too, just like Jordan.

Well, that's about all the current news I have. Have a blessed weekend everyone!!

Easter *Belated Update*

Well, it took me over a week, but I charged my camera and now have pictures to show everyone. We spent Easter in Logan, as tradition has it, with Nana, Bumpa, Auntie Roo, Uncle Adam, Auntie Liz, Aiden, Abby, and of course me and Jordan. Jordan came a day later, so he missed out on a some fun Easter Egg hunts! All well, I enjoyed the candy :o)

Here are some adorable pics of my little angel. This one is of Sarah finding her Easter Basket. She was so cute! Daisy helped her find her basket. She helped Jordan as well, but at first he got mad at Daisy for jumping up on the sofa and sniffing behind it. Low and behold, that's where the Easter Bunny hid his basket. Tsk, Tsk, always trust a hungry dog's nose!

On Easter Sunday, we always have waffles, or so has become tradition over the last 6 or so years. Sarah loves Bumpa's Belgian waffles with fruit!!
Sarah and me together on Easter Morning. I admit, I don't look the best in the mornings, but I suppose there has to be a few blackmail pics floating around of me. So, here is one :o)

This is a picture of my sister's dog, Chubbs. He is a boxer, full bred and very crazy! But, Daisy wouldn't hold still long enough for a funny picture and Chubbs did. So, here is Easter Bunny Chubbers! Abby also tried on the glasses as did Sarah.

Cute, huh!!

Well, Sarah began her swimming lessons on Saturday. Splitting some pool time with Auntie Anna, Sarah enjoyed her first lesson in the water! What a little swimmer!!

On Sunday, since the weather was so nice, we decided to go and feed the ducks at my work. Sarah, naturally, called the ducks, 'doggies', but hey, she's only 20 months old! I can't blame her!!
So, despite all the time I spend writing, I do spend time with my little girl! Who couldn't, she's the light of my life!!! Loves you always buggie!

Books *Sighs*

Well, I have officially finished writing 2 books this week alone. Wow, what a relief and a sadness. I think I've placed myself in a complete emotional whirlwind. It's not easy writing sequels, especially to books that are pretty involved, if you know what I mean.

Well, if anyone had read my first book, An Unforeseen Life, then they know what I am talking about. My sequel, or the second book which is completed but needs editing is called A Forsaken Life, and the third is called A Persevered Life. I am not completely attached to the third title, but the other two I am liking. Anyway, I wrote a YA, LDS fiction as a stress reliever from book 3 of my Life saga and it is entitled, Wherefore Art Thou?

If anyone wants to read Wherefore Art Thou? I would love some editing help :o). I'd like to pursue publishing this one as well. I have high aspirations, I know, but always trying is the key to success. Just keep in mind though, it is Christian Fiction and completely different than anything I've ever written before. Any takers...?
